Linear Low Density Polyethylene Plastic is non-porous, very stretchable, tear and puncture resistant material that is much less costly than LDPE.  It has good clarity and is commonly used for many packaging, liner and trash applications.

Metallocene is a high clarity, very tough and extremely tear resistant material that is manufactured using a metallocene catalyst, resulting in high clarity film with exceptional strength

Polypropylene is a thermoplastic material that does not absorb water; it is unusually resistant to chemical solvents and can withstand extreme temperatures up to 320F.  It is non-porous, super-transparent, non-stretching and durable.  It is stronger and more rigid than PE, and often used in food packaging and for hot fill products including grease, oil and chemicals.\

Biodegradable LDPE

A Biodegradable Plastic (ASTM 1991) is defined as a degradable plastic in which the degradation results from the action of naturally occurring microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi and algae.  Rutan manufactures FDA approved bags that meet this biodegradable specification.

Anti-Static (Grey or Pink)

Grey or Pink anti-static bags are treated with anti-static additives to reduce static electricity.  Thye are excellent for packaging electronic components.  Our amine-free antistatic film and bags are FDA approved.

Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA) is added to plastic resins to increase the strength in extremely low temperatures, used for freezer storage bags.
